To reach the official phase titled Tân binh toàn năng (All-Round Rookies), broadcast on VTV3, the rookies had to undergo a rigorous process of training, evaluation, and elimination. Only the top 11 will get the opportunity to step out onto the global arena, competing directly with international music groups.

The rule entails using the international group's vote as a "Reference Point", which will serve as a transparent and objective benchmark. This compels the Rookies to constantly self-assess and improve their skills to meet the challenge levels (90%, 100%, 115%), helping them adjust to the pressure and standard that audiences expect from a regional-level group.

Top 11 Rookies Promoted in "Show Me" MV

All-Round Producer SOOBIN - who has taken charge of guiding the Rookies on this new journey - stated that despite the immense pressure, his top priority is the dedication to his responsibility of finding the next generation of talented artists. SOOBIN hopes to contribute to forming a cohesive group without loosing the members' individual identities, while also rekindling the popularity of boybands in Vietnam. And to succeed on this new path, the singer believes it's time for the Rookies to embody the "Show It All" spirit - demonstrating all their capabilities, energy, and determination to achieve bigger dreams.

The Rookies will perform the song "Da Den Luc" (It's Time), composed by All-Round Producer SOOBIN in collaboration with Music Director SlimV.

The involvement of big names in the production team, such as General Director Dinh Ha Uyen Thu, Music Director SlimV, and others, ensures all production elements (stage, sound, lighting) adhere to international standards. This creates a comprehensive environment to mentor the Rookies’ development, where they can fully showcase the qualities expected of an idol.

The capable first rivals to the "Promoted" Rookies

Arranging a confrontation with an international group right from the first episode is more than just a daring move, but a core strategy, asserting the unique direction for the program Tân binh toàn năng.

In the opening episode, the top 11 Vietnamese Rookies will officially face off against 8TURN - an 8-member boy group from MNH Entertainment (South Korea). The appearance of 8TURN - a model of success built on talent, professional development strategies, and outstanding performance abilities - is seen as a deliberate move to establish a clear competitive standard for young Vietnamese artists.

8TURN belongs to K-Pop's Gen 5 (5th Generation). This generation, emerging since 2023, is helping to reshape the music market with distinct characteristics, marking a new chapter for the Korean music industry.

Gen 5 focuses on catchy music to promote fresh and accessible product for the public, featuring relatable stories. Furthermore, this generation is purposefully built for the global market from debut, often including members with diverse nationality.

8TURN's strategically recruit members who already have professional experience and have gone through intense training programs. For instance, leader Jaeyun was a contestant on Boys24 and Mix Nine, while Kyungmin participated in I-Land. This thoroughly polished foundation has helped 8TURN build its distinctive style: outstanding performance ability with high stage energy, impressive synchronized choreography, and teamwork.

8TURN notably won the "Blooming Performance Group" award at the 2023 Hanteo Music Awards. The group is also transitioning towards the title of "artist-idols." Members are increasing their creative involvement, contributing lyrics to songs on the Stunning album, including the title track "RU-PUM PUM." This autonomy helps the group clearly convey their message of confidence and their unique style.
