“Tan Binh Toan Nang”: A historic turning point for Vietnamese music to reach the world

Người Lao Động Newspaper - Vietnam’s music race is seeing a generation of all-round young artists who are strong enough to compete in the global market.

On 22-9, in Ho Chi Minh City, YeaH1 Group officially announced the flagship project “Tân Binh Toàn Năng - Show It All.” This is a survival reality entertainment program that selects, trains, and launches a new-generation group, trained methodically under a rigorous K-pop model while keeping a Vietnamese identity.

The program is broadcast on VTV3 at 20:00 every Saturday, starting from 4-10-2025. At the same time, YeaH1 also announced a strategic partnership with Sony Music Entertainment, a leading global music corporation, and launched the online entertainment platform MangoPlus, in collaboration with MangoTV, a top three entertainment platform in China.

This handshake is rated as an unprecedented boost, opening a new development path for Vietnam’s music industry. The combination helps Vietnamese artists not only access the international market, but also have the opportunity to work directly with top songwriters and producers in the world.

YeaH1 will handle training and high-quality content production. Sony Music will take on global distribution, creating a complete ecosystem from production, promotion to commercialization.

Ngô Thị Vân Hạnh, CEO of YeaH1 Group, affirms an unprecedented boost

Ngô Thị Vân Hạnh, CEO of YeaH1 Group, affirmed: “We believe this combination will create an unprecedented boost, putting Vietnamese musical talent on the world map. This is not only a television program, it is a journey to build a generation of young Vietnamese artists who are brave enough to go global.”

With “Tân Binh Toàn Năng,” YeaH1 Group is not only producing a game show. It is laying the foundation to build a new generation of artists who are strong in expertise and who carry Vietnamese cultural identity. The collaboration with Sony Music and MangoTV shows strategic vision, turning the dream of lifting Vietnamese music to world level into reality.

Audiences will not only follow a dramatic program. They will witness each step of growth of young faces, from “rookies” to “all-round artists.” From this project, a first Vietnamese group strong enough to compete internationally may be born, marking a historic turning point for Vietnamese music.

From “rookie” to all-round artist

Tan Binh Toan Nang is designed as a strict training journey. Before airing, thousands of contestants across the country went through tough auditions in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Only the 30 most promising faces entered the “survival phase.”

Here, over 100 days of training, contestants study and practice with top experts from Korea and Vietnam, going through seven consecutive assessments. Each challenge forces them to break through their limits, prove capability, and earn “promotion.”

As a result, the 11 best faces were chosen for the “Tan Binh Thang Cap” lineup, moving into the international competition round. They still face elimination after performance rounds. This harshness makes the program dramatic and hard to predict.

Notably, the “Tan Binh Thang Cap” will have the chance to exchange and compete with international groups from Korea, Japan, Thailand, and Taiwan. This is an important stepping stone to accumulate performance experience and get used to international stage standards.

The final debut group will be selected even more carefully, not only based on talent, but also on teamwork, image direction, and long-term development potential. To guarantee quality, YeaH1 Group has invited a powerful crew behind many of Vietnam’s famous music stages. They include Chief Director Đinh Hà Uyên Thư, Music Director SlimV, Stage D.O.P Trần Quốc Vương, Art Director Vĩ Khang, along with the well-known make-up and hair team Quân Nguyễn and Pu Lê.

The presence of these names raises audience expectations for grand, explosive performances that can compete with international shows.
