Tan Binh Thang Cap to Compete with Two International Idol Groups at the Live Performance 2 of Tan Binh Toan Nang

Two potential groups, JUST B from South Korea and KID PHENOMENON from Japan, will share the stage with Tan Binh Thang Cap, promising high-energy performances and thrilling musical battles.

JUST B – A Rising Force from K-pop

The program Tan Binh Toan Nang has just revealed the next two international music groups officially participating in the competition alongside the Tan Binh Thang Cap team in the second live performance: the K-pop group JUSTB from South Korea and KID PHENOMENON from Japan. Immediately after the announcement was posted on the official fanpage, both the program’s audience and the fan communities of the two groups were extremely excited about their first-ever appearance in Vietnam.

JUSTB is a six-member boy group under Bluedot Entertainment, consisting of Geonu, Bain, Lim Jimin, Siwoo, DY, and Sangwoo. Since their debut in mid-2021, the group has built a strong reputation through performances at global events such as KCON Japan 2023, KCON LA Showcase 2023, and the 29th Dream Concert.

The members bring diverse backgrounds from survival shows: Geonu and Siwoo (I-Land), Lim Jimin (The Fan – SBS, who also debuted as a solo artist prior to joining JUSTB), and DY (Under Nineteen, where he was the center of project group 1THE9). With a solid discography featuring EPs such as JUSTBurn, JUSTBeat, JUSTBegun, and =, JUST B has quickly gained recognition in the industry. 

The group has also won prestigious honors including the Blooming Star Award at the Hanteo Music Awards (2023 and 2024) and the Rising Star Award at the Korea Model Awards (2022). In 2024, the group teamed up with ATBO to form the project group The CrewOne and participated in Mnet’s competition series Road to Kingdom: Ace of Ace. They also successfully wrapped their first world tour Just Odd, covering 13 cities worldwide. With such impressive milestones, JUSTB is expected to deliver explosive stages at Tan Binh Toan Nang’s second live performance.

KID PHENOMENON – A Fresh Wave of J-pop

KID PHENOMENON (also known as Kidofeno) is a seven-member boy group from Japan, formed in August 2023 through the large-scale audition program iCON Z ~ Dreams For Children ~ under LDH JAPAN. The group consists of Kensuke Sorematsu, Tsubasa Endo, Kohaku Okao, Soma Kawaguchi, Shunnosuke Sato, Kota Yamamoto, and Rui Suzuki.

Soon after debut, they officially joined the EXILE TRIBE collective, alongside popular groups such as LIL LEAGUE, THE JET BOY BANGERZ, and WOLF HOWL HARMONY. After debuting with the single Wheelie, the group quickly gained traction with hits such as Sonzai Shoumei, Unstoppable, Party Over There, and their first album PHENOMENON. Their latest release, Sparkle Summer, continues to rank highly on Japanese music charts.

As part of the EXILE TRIBE collective, KID PHENOMENON has successfully held nationwide tours and fan meetings with 10 shows across 11 cities in Japan and has participated in major showcases such as NEO EXILE SPECIAL LIVE 2024. Their debut performance in Vietnam at Tan Binh Toan Nang is anticipated to bring a vibrant new energy to the Live Performance 2.

The official announcement on the show’s fanpage sparked excitement among local audiences and international fandoms, as both groups will be making their first-ever appearance in Vietnam. Fans expressed anticipation for the thrilling stage competition between JUSTB, KID PHENOMENON and the Tan Binh Thang Cap team.

The official phase of the reality TV program Tan Binh Toan Nang will air on VTV3 in September 2025.

Prior to this, the show's producers announced the filming schedule for the 5 official live performances of Tan Binh Toan Nang: Live Performance 1 was held on 12 August at Tân Bình Sports Hall; Live Performance 2 will take place on 10 September; Live Performance 3 on 25 September; Live Performance 4 on 9 October; and Live Performance 5 on 24 October. At these 5 Live Performance, the audience will have the opportunity to be among the first to witness the ongoing growth of the Tan Binh Thang Cap team during the filming sessions. Live Performance 1 concluded with the appearance of the Korean boy group 8TURN. The official release for Live Performance 2 will open at 10:10 AM on 3 September on the YVote platform. During the official phase of Tan Binh Toan Nang, Tan Binh Thang Cap team will also interact and compete with well-trained international music groups from the region. This opens up opportunities to gain real-world stage experience and learn skills from performers with prior group performance experience.

The program officially announced a highly experienced production team, known for delivering numerous top-tier music stages in Vietnam, to accompany Tan Binh Toan Nang. After 100 days of intensive training following a curriculum designed by Korean experts during the Survival Phase, Tan Binh Toan Nang is entering its official phase, which will be broadcast on Vietnam’s National Television in September 2025. Specifically, the program will air at 8:00 PM every Saturday on VTV3 and at 8:30 PM on the YeaH1 Show YouTube channel starting from 27 September 2025.
