The final episode of "Gia Dinh Haha" has created an unprecedented milestone for a "healing" entertainment show.
Although the show was broadcasted on YouTube for nearly 5 hours, at one point, the program attracted 150,000 concurrent live viewers, helping "Gia Dinh Haha" reach 1.2 million views right after the premiere ended. For the audience, this final episode left many feeling emotional, unwilling to say goodbye.
From the highlands of Ban Lien, the deep seas of Sa Huynh, flowing along the rivers of the Mekong Delta, the journey of "Gia Dinh Haha" all came together as a beautiful painting of Vietnam, full of vivid memories, where each land represent a color, tied together by the lines of people they have met. Episode 15, the final chapter of the journey in the Central Highlands, where all the lines meet, brings the members back to the starting point and also the destination of all journeys: the love for family.
Returning to Ba Nam's home: Wherever Gia Dinh Haha goes, it feels like Tet all over again.
The journey in Dak Lak continues with a special trip: a visit to Bui Cong Nam’s hometown. The trip quickly turned into a reunion day, as Nam's family gathered from all over, creating an atmosphere that the members themselves called a "second Tet".
Amidst the cozy atmosphere and the bowl of Quang noodles personally prepared by Nam’s mother - "Aunty Hoa Mi" - meaningful moments were created. The highlight of the reunion was when his mother surprises him with a birthday cake, this was the first time in many years that Bui Cong Nam celebrated his birthday in the complete embrace of his family. The moment he taught (S)TRONG how Vietnamese people express affection to parents with an affectionate "kiss on the cheek", and (S)TRONG's sharing afterward – "nothing is more precious than being with family" – encapsulated the spirit of this journey segment.

"Extraordinary Women"
The story of the Central Highlands women opened up from a question by (S)TRONG about Ms. Dung's childhood dream. The dream of becoming a teacher to bring literacy to the village had to be set aside because of the harsh distant, but her aspiration to contribute still led her to Party work, alongside her role of managing the household. The story of the years spent both working at the agency and caring for children in difficult conditions made the members admire her, calling her an "Extraordinary Woman".
To honor that story, "Gia Dinh Haha" turned the living room into a special stage, re-enacting the “Outstanding Women” community contest she had once participated in. On that impromptu "stage," there are powerful messages being exchanged. Ngoc Thanh Tam shared: "Women must live happily every day, because when women are happy, everyone else is happy." That sharing was followed by Ms. Dung, encapsulating the mission and spirit of an entire generation: "Central Highlands women in particular and Vietnamese women in general must be harmonious, united, and comprehensively developed."
A Gift Left For the Children of the Central Highlands: "Uncle Xim's Movie Theater"
With the Elephant Protection project, "Gia Dinh Haha" organized a special animated screening for children throughout the region, sending a message of conservation for the species that is both dear to the Central Highlands and precious to the animal world. The simple village, usually quiet, was transformed into an outdoor cinema, and the film "Chu Voi Biet Bay" (The Flying Elephant) started playing before the eager eyes of the children.
"Gia Dinh Haha" welcomes the children to "Uncle Xim's Movie Theater".

At each stop, "Gia Dinh Haha" has given meaningful gifts for the land they visited: Ban Lien with 500 trees to remedy the aftermath of Typhoon No. 3, Quang Ngai with a photo frame and a swing that attracts visitors to Sa Huynh’s Beach, Ben Tre with 10 energy-efficient illumination poles to brighten the small village trails. Now, amidst the mountains and forests of the Central Highlands, an outdoor cinema lights up children’s laughter and spreads love to all creatures.
"Gia Dinh Haha" – The bridge of kinship for words of love left unsaid
If there is one emotional achievement that the "Gia Dinh Haha" journey leaves behind, it is the role of the “bridge of kinship”, a place where long-kept words of love have the chance to be spoken. Throughout the journey, the program created space for fathers, mothers, and children to open their hearts. This continued through the story of Y Xim and his mother in Dak Lak.
The sincere words of Jun Phạm about no longer having his mother to care for, “People often say I have everything, right, but I no longer have my mother to care for” became a stirring moment and gave Y Xim the courage, for the first time, to tell his mother, “The brothers and I love you very much, you are the most wonderful person.”
That connection was affirmed by Xim’s mother on the farewell morning, when she thanked the program for giving her and her children a chance to “understand and to open up to each other more”. Perhaps nothing is more meaningful than Y Xim’s confirmation, “Everyone always shows concern and looks after me like a real family.” The tight hugs and the words “We love you, Ms. Dung" (Thuong co Dung nha) closed one of the most meaningful chapters of the journey, where the program not only brought joy, it also helped each person become braver with showing affection in their own family.

"It was no miracle, yet we have met each other"
By the fire, (S)TRONG acted as host and asked each person about their most memorable moment along the way. Tu Tam began, “Just be yourself and you will find where you belong.”
Scene of the members sharing their feelings about the whole journey

Anh Hai Thien recalled the sense of adventure from the plowed fields of Ban Lien, to the small house in the land of Quang, to the days getting used to bees in Ben Tre. Each segment was a time to overcome their own limits and open their hearts.
For Ut Khanh: Ban Lien was "enjoyment," Quang Ngai was "limits," Ben Tre was "family," and Dak Lak was "gratitude." He shared: "The program is like an open diary for people to witness everyone's journey of growing up." Ba Nam continued: "I feel healed."
Anh Ca Thuan shared: "At the beginning, we first learn to plant the rice, and now the paddy has bloomed at the end. I have grown a lot. The "Gia Dinh Haha" journey went through four places, each with its own characteristic: meeting Mr. Ha and Ms. Thong felt like “in-laws”; Mr. Son, Mr. Diep, Ms. Tham were like siblings in the house; Aunty and Uncle Chin were like parents; and Y Xim was like a younger brother." Ba Nam also sent a message to the crew: ""Gia Dinh Haha" isn't just us, but everyone here, this whole crew is also a part of "Gia Dinh Haha"."
And finally, the complete journey of "Gia Dinh Haha" closed with the familiar opening song "Nhung ngay troi bao la". Although the journey has ended, its afterglow will remain with each person.
The Audience's Mixed Emotions: "Let's Not Say Goodbye"
As the first season ended, "Gia Dinh Haha" had become a dear companion on Saturday nights, where viewers found a rare source of laughter and peace amidst the hectic pace of modern life.
Many shared the sudden empty sensation in their old habit of waiting at 20:30 (8:30 PM) each week, a simple and comforting routine that is now missing, leaving them longing for more instead of saying goodbye. Viewer @MeoMuc-wv8kf commented, “I am scared to think that after this episode, I could no longer experience the feeling of waiting every Saturday night.”

“Gia Dinh Haha" offers cinematic frames that portray the raw and authentic everyday life, yet remains a high-quality production while capturing gatherings during family meals, folk games, and songs of fellowship. Moreover, the show evoked a significant sense of pride in the audience. One viewer shared, “The program has succeeded not only for its entertainment value, but also for promoting Vietnam’s gift of nature and the rich regional culture, which helps to improve the local livelihoods.” Many call Gia Đình Haha “a healing dose in a busy life.”

Viewers express great affection towards the reality show, and even the sponsors who accompanied"Gia Dinh Haha". Many comments thanked the artists and call out to all the brands in a close and familiar manner, something rare between TV audiences and labels in an entertainment program, “Everyone, add Chinsu to your carts so they can sponsor season 2.” Through the humanistic values, kindness, and sincerity that "Gia Dinh Haha" has inspired, formed the connection between the public and all the brands.

From family meals and songs of connection to the “movie theater” in the Central Highlands mountains, "Gia Dinh Haha" always left a gift at each stop as a sign of affection for the land and its people. What remains is the bond between parents and children, between strangers and siblings under one roof. The journey of "Gia Dinh Haha" wraps up with smiles, tears, and the promise to meet again, which proves that happiness can sometimes be as simple as coming home, gathering together, and sharing joy, since where there is love, there is home.
