Tuổi Trẻ Newspaper - With laughter interwoven with tears, “Gia Dinh Haha” closed its final stretch with an episode full of emotion, leaving audiences with a warm afterglow like a reunion at Tết.

Continuing the surprise from the previous episode, when Bùi Công Nam was “ambushed” with a birthday cake from Tóc Tiên and Duy Khánh at dawn, he decided to take the whole “Gia Dinh Haha” to visit his hometown of Đắk Lắk.
Not only Bùi Công Nam’s family but neighbors along the lane were almost all relatives. He did not forget to “lead a tour” as he walked, introducing the homes of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He also stopped to show the childhood coconut tree, proof of the nimble tree-climbing that had surprised everyone in the Mekong Delta.
The simple, reunion scene overflowing with kinship made the members call it a “second Tết.”
Like close friends visiting someone’s hometown, they sat together and listened to Mom and Dad tell stories from “Anh Ba Nam’s” childhood.
It turned out the calm, thoughtful older brother is actually the youngest child who was doted on. His family even recognized guest (S)TRONG Trọng Hiếu thanks to the hit Kho báu, which made him jump up to dance with Ms. Hoa, Bùi Công Nam’s mother.
Since her son happened to visit on his birthday, she prepared a generous mì Quảng feast along with a surprise cake for her youngest.
For the first time in more than ten years, Bùi Công Nam blew out candles in his family’s arms. He jokingly taught Trọng Hiếu how to show affection with a tender “kiss on the cheek.”
The final peaceful nights of “Gia Dinh Haha”
After that, the whole team returned to Y Xim’s home. Calm returned around the small garden. Everyone worked hard to prepare the last meals together.
The finale also devoted much time to honoring mothers. The story of Ms. Dung, Y Xim’s mother, appeared truthful and moving.

What lingered most after the reunion meals were the heartfelt words everyone shared with one another, along with the beautiful memories made as a family.
For years she juggled Party work and family burdens in scarce conditions, becoming the “extraordinary woman” who raised Y Xim and his siblings. To pay tribute, the members secretly turned the living room into a stage to recreate the “Excellent Grassroots Woman” contest she has always been proud to have joined. In a poignant moment, Jun Phạm opened up about the loss of no longer having his mother to care for.
Those words gave Y Xim the courage, for the first time, to say directly to his mother, “My siblings and I love you very much. You are the most wonderful person.” The garden fell silent, then slowly burst into tears.

“Gia Dinh Haha” also gave Central Highlands children a special gift, “Uncle Xim’s cinema,” with the film Dumbo. The children’s cheers sowed more seeds of love, connecting people with the mountains, forests, and elephants, the sacred symbol of the Central Highlands.
The “Gia Dinh Haha” journey has ended. Audiences now have to say goodbye to the healing journey that arrived each weekend. Many fans do not seem ready to part with a game show without drama or competition, yet one that still has a strange pull.
More than entertainment, the program became a “bridge of kinship,” a place where viewers found peace, and more importantly realized the value of family.
Sometimes what is most precious is not grand things. It is the hugs, the shared meals, or simply the conversations after hours of hard work.
