As dusk fell, the charcoal stove glowed red while Thanh Duy, Ái Phương, Hai Thiện, and Tư Tâm rolled up their sleeves to help cook. When plates of “bánh xèo” were brought out, spontaneous music filled the night. Út Khánh sang rustic folk tunes, Ái Phương performed “Tôi Thấy Hoa Vàng Trên Cỏ Xanh,” and Ba Nam played guitar in harmony.
