Harper's Bazaar - At exactly midnight, after nearly four hours of broadcast, more than 102,000 viewers were still watching “Gia Dinh Haha” Episode 11 live on YeaH1 Show’s official YouTube channel.
The journey of “Gia Dinh Haha” in the Mekong Delta ended with a surge of live viewership. Right at 12 A.M., the show still maintained an impressive 102,000 concurrent viewers.
“I wish this night could last forever” - Uncle Chín’s simple words made many viewers admit, “I cried,” because they carried so much love. They seemed to echo both the feelings of Uncle and Aunt Chín and the audience for “Gia Dinh Haha”.

From sweat shed in the coconut groves to laughter shared around the fire, the members of “Gia Dinh Haha” built bonds that felt like true family. More than a fond farewell, this episode was a reminder that the warm affection of the Mekong Delta had become a real home “with a father, with a mother” where artists and those far from home felt like they were all part of one family: the family named “Gia Dinh Haha”.
Meeting as strangers, leaving as beloved family

The journey in Bến Tre began with the “Chị Đẹp” of the Mekong Delta guiding the group on a small boat, introducing them to the land and its people. And as the chapter came to a close, she was the one to welcome them into her kitchen, cooking “bánh xèo” together for a farewell meal.
As dusk fell, the charcoal stove glowed red while Thanh Duy, Ái Phương, Hai Thiện, and Tư Tâm rolled up their sleeves to help cook. When plates of “bánh xèo” were brought out, spontaneous music filled the night. Út Khánh sang rustic folk tunes, Ái Phương performed “Tôi Thấy Hoa Vàng Trên Cỏ Xanh,” and Ba Nam played guitar in harmony. Most touching of all, when Aunt Chín sang “Nỗi Buồn Đêm Đông” the whole group joined in, turning the simple dinner into a heartfelt family concert.

Before parting ways, the atmosphere quieted for heartfelt confessions. Anh Cả Thuận shared that it was a day of complete happiness being together, speaking openly, and treating each other as family. He said he felt like a son and grandson again, a role he had long missed. Even the family dogs, Út Cưng and Gái Vàng, seemed to sense the goodbye, clinging closely to the members.
For the “Gia Dinh Haha”, the Mekong Delta was no longer just a stopover. Here, with Uncle and Aunt Chín, shared meals, and rustic laughter, they found a home drawn straight from childhood memories. Uncle Chín’s words “I wish this night could last forever” made the farewell bittersweet, bringing many viewers to tears as they saw the image of parents and family in these poetic, moving moments.
The lights that light up the humble hamlet

During their days in Bến Tre, the group worked late nights learning clam harvesting and fishing, and listened to stories from Uncle and Aunt Chín. From this, a wish grew: to leave something meaningful behind. On their final day, the cast built 10 solar-powered street lamps along the village road a small but heartfelt gift to help locals travel more safely.

The work was tough, with each hole needing to be a meter deep. But as the group sang “Bài Ca Đất Phương Nam” together, the labor turned into a joyful, energetic activity. Once the lamps were raised, they planted flowers along the roadside, transforming it into a bright, beautiful path full of community spirit.

Ba Nam hummed “Đường về quê thấy sao trong lòng vui ghê/ Đường về với gia đình” words that reflected the whole group’s feelings. Though they came as strangers, the days of working and sharing made them part of the community, a true “from strangers to loved ones” bond.
A local representative expressed gratitude on behalf of the villagers, recognizing the group’s efforts to give the village road a fresh new look and promising to care for the meaningful gifts left behind.
“We love you so much”
On their final night, under the moonlight, a warm farewell dinner took place at Uncle and Aunt Chín’s home. With teary eyes, Uncle Chín admitted that he and Aunt had been crying since the afternoon, touched by the sincerity and connection brought by the cast. His message to them was meaningful: to succeed, to dedicate their youth and talents to the country.
Aunt Chín burst into tears simply because, as she said, “I love you all so much.” Her love was beyond words. To her, these days together were like “two New Years” a reunion full of laughter, family affection, and joy.

In the reflective atmosphere, each member opened up. Jun Phạm said he loved Uncle and Aunt like his own parents and promised he would surely return. Ái Phương shared that although the trip was different from what she had imagined, it far exceeded her expectations, filling her soul with positivity. Thanh Duy, eyes wet with emotion, compared the Mekong Delta to a home where he could be small again, loved and cared for like a child.
A sweet birthday and precious gifts

That evening, the group surprised Tư Tâm with a birthday celebration. When a small cake appeared, the candles lit up her astonished face. Overwhelmed, she cried tears of happiness, saying her only wish was for “Gia Dinh Haha”’s journey to last longer so she could keep living in these precious moments.
To preserve memories, Ái Phương and Ba Nam gave heartfelt gifts to Uncle and Aunt Chín and their fellow cast members simple but full of gratitude. In return, Uncle Chín offered his own handmade specialties: ripe cacao, jars of fragrant honey, and traditional rice wine. More than gifts, they were tokens of love and care from Uncle and Aunt to “their children.”

Music once again became the language of affection. Inspired by Aunt Chín’s tender reminder “Remember to come back and visit,” Ba Nam wrote and sang “Về đây chơi nhen” Ái Phương sang her own heartfelt song: “The love here, I take with me, and I leave a piece of my heart here, in the Mekong Delta.” The songs brought Aunt Chín to tears as she promised she would replay them whenever she missed the cast simple but sacred words that turned the music into an invisible bond connecting Gia Dinh Haha with the land and people.
Finally, Uncle Chín hugged Jun Phạm tightly and said the heartfelt words: “When you stay, people love you; when you leave, people will miss you.” It was both a blessing and a fatherly reminder for the children he had embraced as his own.
A farewell full of love
The laughter and tears of “Gia Dinh Haha”’s Mekong Delta chapter ended with Episode 11. Though short, the days with Uncle and Aunt Chín sowed seeds of love in each person’s heart. The warmth of the people turned a simple homestay into a true family home.
Perhaps this journey is not just a beautiful memory, but also a reminder of the meaning of kinship. Wherever they go, the members of “Gia Dinh Haha” will always carry with them a piece of their hearts left in the Mekong Delta where they were free to be themselves, and where they were loved like true family.
