“Anh Trai Vuot Ngan Chong Gai 2026” opens with tension and high drama

At the start of the journey, the artists face a challenge at the “Anh Tai Verification Station,” where a series of humorous situations unfold as the facial recognition system repeatedly fails to scan their faces. Many spontaneous improvisations emerge, including posing, impromptu singing, and performing difficult moves to overcome the obstacle. The teams then enter the “Fire Chamber,” where they must choose opponents they want to face or avoid, laying the foundation for strategic battles from the very first performance round.

This season brings together 10 teams with distinct identities such as “Anh Tai Lam Chieu,” “Quai Kiet Mong Mo,” “Nhung Ke Lang Du,” “Biet Doi Tai Xuat,” and “To Doi Song Ngam.” According to the new rules, the teams compete in five head-to-head matchups. Each team performs both individual stages and a group performance before the studio audience votes to determine the winner. In addition, the five artists with the highest individual scores will receive the “Warrior Ring,” granting them an advantage in the next round.

In the first matchup, “Anh Tai Lam Chieu,” consisting of Dai Nghia, Huynh Lap, and Mew Amazing, made a strong impression through a series of performances that blended music, stagecraft, and entertainment elements. The climax came when Dai Nghia performed a headstand on stage while maintaining stable live vocals, surprising the entire auditorium. After the performance, he revealed that he had to endure bouts of vertigo backstage in order to complete the act.

Meanwhile, “Tinh Dau Ruc Chay,” featuring Will, Toki Thanh Tho, K.O, and Ho Dong Quan, delivered a true idol group image with synchronized vocals, choreography, and high energy. Despite being highly regarded for their technical performance, they ultimately lost to “Anh Tai Lam Chieu.” Will expressed admiration for the senior artists’ stage presence and expressive performance, while Huynh Lap attributed their victory to the combination of entertainment value and emotional impact.

The second matchup saw “Quai Kiet Mong Mo” face off against “Nhung Ke Lang Du.” “Quai Kiet Mong Mo,” featuring Trinh Thang Binh, Ha An Huy, and Tho (Da LAB), brought a pop-rock musical space with reimagined hit songs. Notably, Tho was deeply moved performing solo for the first time in nearly two decades of his career with Da LAB, while Trinh Thang Binh marked his return after a long hiatus.

Opposing them, “Nhung Ke Lang Du,” consisting of Dinh Manh Ninh, Thom (Da LAB), and Dung DT, focused on evoking the nostalgic youth memories of the 8x and 9x generations through familiar songs. Although not strong in choreography, the team gained sympathy through their relatability, humor, and positive energy. The moment Thom shared about nearly 20 years of friendship and collaboration with Tho before facing him on stage also brought emotional depth to the audience. Ultimately, “Nhung Ke Lang Du” won the matchup thanks to their emotional resonance and entertainment value.
